Frequently Asked Questions

Will the text still be selectable?
No. This tool renders pages as images and converts them to grayscale, so the output PDF contains images rather than selectable text.
Why is the file larger after conversion?
Each page is converted to a JPEG image. Depending on the original PDF content, the image-based version may be larger. Try Compress PDF afterward to reduce size.
Can I convert specific pages only?
Currently, all pages are converted. Use Split PDF first to isolate specific pages.
Is my file uploaded?
No. All processing happens in your browser. Your PDF never leaves your device.
