Frequently Asked Questions
- Will the text still be selectable?
- No. This tool renders pages as images and converts them to grayscale, so the output PDF contains images rather than selectable text.
- Why is the file larger after conversion?
- Each page is converted to a JPEG image. Depending on the original PDF content, the image-based version may be larger. Try Compress PDF afterward to reduce size.
- Can I convert specific pages only?
- Currently, all pages are converted. Use Split PDF first to isolate specific pages.
- Is my file uploaded?
- No. All processing happens in your browser. Your PDF never leaves your device.
